Each unit shall be individually wrapped in electrostatic discharge protective material (MIL-PRF-81705E, Type III), placed in bubble wrap, and packed in an ASTM-D5118 double-wall fiberboard box. The warranty is standard manufacturer's warranty, with a two-year guarantee against defects leading to failure after installation. The cost estimate for overhaul shall not exceed $2,500. Government acceptance occurs at destination with verification of no transit damage, correctness and completeness of order, and contractor conformance to all preservation, packaging, and marking requirements. OVERHAUL DESCRIPTION

Items as received by the contractor must be complete and of the proper cited part number. Discrepancies shall be reported to the Coast Guard Contracting Officer.

OVERHAUL REQUIREMENTS:

Open, inspect and report (OIR) on repairs of Hatteland Display JH 19T14 MMD- AA1-AOAA in accordance with attached SFLC Specification R-400-299-M dated October 2014. Contact recommend source to obtain RMA number and shipping instructions. Items must be shipped to:

Hatteland Display, AS Eikeskogvegen 52 Aksdal 5570 Norway

Electronic equipment shall be processed for the return of unserviceable items to an operational status. An Inspection Report shall be provided to the Coast Guard Contracting Officer which shall include, as a minimum, parts required, labor hours required and a total estimate for all required services. The Contractor shall not proceed with repairs until firm fixed price and delivery schedules are negotiated and authorization to proceed is received from the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer will make the determination whether to repair the item or will provide disposal instructions. Electronic equipment shall be processed for the return of unserviceable items to an operational status. Repairs shall be made in accordance with attached SFLC Specification R-400-299-M dated October 2014.

Addtional instructions for R-400-299-M, Part 5 shall include;

Individually packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-I E Method 10, using weather-resistant paperboard folding with waterproof barrier materials and cushioned in bubble wrap and packed in an appropriately sized ASTM-D5118 Double-wall Fiberboard Box. Use initially wrapped in Electrostatic Discharge Protective material conforming to MIL-PRF-81705E, Type III as needed.

Marking IAW MIL-STD-129R and bar coded IAW ISO/IEC-16388-2007, Code 39

WARRANTY:

B. Item being repaired as an "onboard repair" or a "system stock" item and will be put into inventory. NOT FOR IMMEDIATE INSTALLATION.

Contractor must guarantee item against defects that lead to failure for days after installation for a period of up to two (2) years after

GOVERNMENT ACCEPTANCE:

Acceptance will be made at destination by a Government representative.

Acceptance will be contingent upon the representative's verification of no damage in transit, correctness and completeness of order and contractor's conformance to preservation/packaging, packing and marking requirements.

A. Each unit shall be packed individually in it's own wooden box which shall be capable of providing adequate protection to the item during multiple shipments. Mark each box in legible black print lettering with the following information:
