About this file

This is an RFP Amendment 002 issued by the State of New Mexico for meal services at the Job Challenge Academy and New Mexico National Guard Youth Challenge Academies. The amendment modifies the original solicitation for food service operations at these state-operated youth challenge programs. The document outlines updates to project specifications, requirements, and terms previously established in the base RFP. Contractors are required to provide comprehensive meal services including preparation, service, and related food operations to support the daily operations of both academies' residential populations. The amendment clarifies service delivery requirements, staffing expectations, and operational standards that bidders must address in their proposals. Specific response deadlines and submission requirements are detailed within the amendment documentation, with awards anticipated to support continuous meal service operations at both facilities throughout the contract term.

The amendment establishes pricing structures and evaluation criteria for meal service proposals, including per-meal costs and potential volume-based adjustments based on actual participant enrollment. Any incumbent contractor information, modifications to set-aside provisions, or changes to funding allocations from the State of New Mexico are incorporated through this amendment. The solicitation requires bidders to demonstrate capacity to serve multiple meal periods daily while maintaining nutritional standards, food safety compliance, and accommodation of dietary restrictions. Contract performance expectations address food quality, meal timing, waste management, and coordination with academy administrative staff. The amendment supersedes conflicting language in the original RFP documents while maintaining the core service requirements for supporting youth challenge program participants throughout the contract period.
