About this file

This document is a contract clause (ES7035) implementing MIL-STD-1171A requirements for ammunition and munitions procurements. The clause mandates that contractors prepare Acceptance and Description Sheets for all propellants, explosives, pyrotechnics, and chemical materials incorporated into end items or components, including subassemblies, when the Airmunitions Specification requires MIL-STD-1171 compliance. Contractors must enter data sheets directly into the Worldwide Ammunition-data Repository Program (WARP) system, which is accessed through the Munitions History Program (MHP) network at https://mhp.redstone.army.mil/. The requirement flows down to all suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors engaged by the prime contractor.

The contractor bears full responsibility for on-screen data entry into the appropriate WARP module and must ensure accuracy and truthfulness of the information submitted. A typed signature by an authorized company signatory carries the same legal weight as a handwritten signature and constitutes certification that all submitted information is accurate and complete. This clause became effective in January 2012 (revision) and applies to Army munitions contracts requiring compliance with the specified military standard.
