5 On sheet C13 on grading detail A at bottom of the detail shows a wingwall/headwall that matches detail on sheet T1, there is no detail for the wingwall/headwall shown on the top of Detail A.

Does FHWA have another detail that matches the wingwall/headwall on the top of Detail A on sheet C13?

6. On the subexcavation detail on sheet F1 it shows a 2' typical subexcavation depth. On note 5 of the subexcavation detail it mentions removing and replacing the FDR material and existing aggregate base as items subsidiary to the subexcavation pay item. Per the geotech report the average existing pavement depth is ~4" and average existing aggregate base depth is 8". Are we to complete the subexcavation to that depth in order to be able to reuse all of the material, or are we to remove and replace the 12" of FDR and aggregate base + an additional 12" below that by excavating, hauling off waste and replacing with new material?

Subexcavation depth is 2 feet below the proposed structural section, which is shown on the Typical Section Sheets. Backfill with material conforming to Section 204.

7. Can the material we are removing and replacing for the subexcavation be stockpiled on the shoulder and replaced as we backfill each evening?

Store and handle subexcavated material according to Subsection 105.04.
