About this file

This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for security officer services throughout various federal facilities in the Western United States. The Federal Aviation Administration seeks to award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with both fixed price and cost reimbursement line items for an initial one-year base period and four one-year option periods to begin on September 30, 2022. Services will include providing armed and unarmed security guards at air traffic control facilities and other sites. The contractor must implement all necessary staffing, scheduling and equipment controls to ensure service requirements are met. Questions are due by January 14th and responses will be provided by January 28th. Proposals must be submitted electronically to the contracting officer by February 16th.

The amendment provides responses to questions from potential offerors to clarify requirements. Key details addressed include: no office space or training facilities will be provided; personal protective equipment is not required to be supplied; COVID-19 protocols will follow federal guidelines; and transition activities must be completed between award and September 30th. Pricing templates, facility listings, and seniority lists were also updated in the amendment appendices.
