About this file

This document is an amendment to a federal solicitation for repair work on a tugboat. The amendment changes the timeline for the solicitation by moving the due date for questions to August 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM EDT and the due date for quotes to August 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM EDT. It also provides answers to questions about coolant and antifouling paint requirements. Specifically, it indicates that approximately 200 gallons of coolant will be needed to replace what is in the system and any excess must be returned to the government. It specifies a Napa coolant filter part number. It also states that 50 square feet of antifouling paint should be assumed for bidding purposes to touch up the hull. The solicitation number is 6933A223Q000017 and it is from the Department of Transportation Maritime Administration for keel cooler repair work on tugboat TD-209 located in the James River Reserve Fleet for fiscal year 2023.
