About this file

This document is an Addendum One with Questions and Answers related to Invitation to Bid (ITB) Number 6907 OF issued by the State of Nebraska, Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Materiel Division, State Purchasing Bureau (SPB) for the procurement of Three (3) Nautel FM Transmitters. The transmitters are to be configured for three different locations - Columbus (88.7MHz, 5kW), Broken Bow (89.3MHz, 6.5kW), and McCook (90.7MHz, 5.9kW), all with 120/240 single phase AC line voltage. The Addendum addresses questions related to the type of surge suppressors required and whether shorting stubs are needed for the ERI antennas. The ITB has a bid opening date of July 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time.

The pricing for the project should include a single phase surge suppressor. ERI antennas are not being used for this project, so shorting stubs are not required. This Addendum will become part of the ITB and should be acknowledged with the bid submission.

RE: Addendum for Invitation to Bid (ITB) Number 6907 OF for Three (3) Nautel FM Transmitters to be opened on July 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time

# Question Answer 1 Can you please provide Frequency & TPO and AC Line Voltage for each location to be configured at the time of shipment, this will help determine the surge suppressor to be shipped with the transmitter.

Columbus: 88.7MHz, aprox 5kW TPO, 120/240 single phase

Broken Bow: 89.3MHz, aprox 6.5kW TPO, 120/240 single phase

McCook: 90.7MHz, aprox 5.9kW TPO, 120/240 single phase

2 If you change from single phase to three phase that requires another type of surge suppressor, do you want both a single and three phase included in the pricing?

Please include single phase surge suppressor in pricing.

3 Are these transmitter being placed on ERI Antennas? If they are I would highly recommend the addition of a shorting stub to the order

ERI antennas are not being used for this project.

This Addendum will become part of the ITB and should be acknowledged with the ITB.
