Sources Sought for MT FLAP PARK 34(2), Shields River Road Surface Improvements

This solicitation is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work listed in the requirements section below. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Plans and specifications are not available at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought must be received by email no later than the date specified in the response section. This intent of this sources sought is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of performing the proposed contract work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company has the capability and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following:
(a) Company Name
(b) Address
(c) Point of contact
(d) Phone and email
(e) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI; SAM.gov)
(f) Bonding Capacity (per contract)
(g) Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women
Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business HUBZone business:
(h) Listing of your highway/bridge construction experience within the last 3 years where you were the prime contractor for work of similar type and scope. Include contract numbers, titles, locations, dollar amounts.
Requirement
The proposed contract action is for a firm-fixed-priced construction contract. The primary objective of the proposed project is paving, grading, roadway reconditioning. The project length is 13.5 miles. The project is located in approximately 1 mile
NE of Wilsall in Park County, Montana.
NAICS Code 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction apply to this procurement with a size standard of $45 million.
Estimated Price Range: Between $7 million and $10 million.

Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should include all information requested in (a) through (h) above.
Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
Any offeror capable of providing this service shall respond to this sources sought by e-mail to wfl.contracts@dot.gov no later than November 2, 2023, 1400 PT.
