Gifford Pinchot Repairs 2017, Phase 2

# General Technical Question Answer Date

1 X

We plan on looking at this job ahead of time and one major question that came to mind is, can we use the quarry located approximately 2,500 feet west of

Willame Lake on FSR 63 as a material source for this project?

The preliminary documents posted on sam.gov have been posted to aid prospective bidders in identifying the location and type of work for this project. Please monitor the SAM site for the actual date of solicitation release

(https://sam.gov/), and the duration of the advertisement period; and submit your questions during the advertisement period for the project. To receive automatic notification through SAM, you must login and select “Follow” feature and follow the steps as indicated.

We understand this project is in the preliminary stage, and we were just checking to see if you thought we would be able to use that gravel source or not? If you’ve got any info on that we’d appreciate it if not no problem we will just wait until the solicitation comes out.

We do not know the answer at this time because this

Project is currently in development. We have forwarded your question to our Project Development Team, so we ask that you postposed your question(s) until an Invitation for Bids (IFB) is posted.
