Opportunity: IDIQ Construction Contract for Athens, GA
Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Environmental Research Laboratory located in Athens, Georgia has a requirement for an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide construction services and/or renovations.
This acquisition is being conducted as a competitive 8(a) set-aside in accordance with Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act and FAR Subpart 19.8. Competition is limited to 8(a) firms that are serviced by the Georgia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Award of one (1) indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $40m ceiling is anticipated with a one (1) year base period and four (4) one-year option periods. Specific requirements will be identified in written task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. In addition to rates, the Government's evaluation of proposals will include an assessment of each offeror's technical capability and past performance. It is anticipated, all non-price evaluation factors, when combined (including past performance), are approximately equal in importance to price. The Government intends to evaluate proposals and make award without discussions.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, the size standard for which is $36.5M. All responsible 8(a) concerns that are serviced by the Georgia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration located in Atlanta, Georgia may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the EPA.
