About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the procurement of an Ion Chromatograph (IC) instrument for the EPA Region 9 Laboratory in Corvallis, Oregon. The instrument is required to perform analysis of various water types and waste matrices, using EPA Method 300.0, and must include specific technical capabilities such as a compact bench-top design, eluent generator with shut-off valve, high-pressure tolerance up to 30 MPa, and continuously regenerated chemical suppression. Additional requirements include a desktop computer with Windows 11, comprehensive safety features, and a 1-year warranty on parts and labor.
The vendor must provide on-site instrument verification by demonstrating the IC meets all specified characteristics and conduct a training/familiarization session for up to four people during installation. The instrument must be new, from the manufacturer's current design, and include all standard features. Delivery is specified to the EPA Region 9 Laboratory at 200 SW 35th St, Corvallis, OR 97333, with the expectation that the vendor will ensure the instrument is fully functional and the laboratory staff are trained in its use.
