To All Suppliers:

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania defines a solicitation “Addendum” as an addition to or amendment of the original terms, conditions, specifications, or instructions of a procurement solicitation (e.g., Invitation for Bids or Request for Proposals).

List any and all changes:

Question #1

The Statement of Work states that remote CART and Onsite CART providers must provide proof of Certified Realtime Captioner credentials with the bid. Do agencies need to provide these credentials for their subcontracted providers with the bid or only upon request of the using Agency?

Answer #1

Suppliers are not required to submit Certified Realtime Captioner credentials with a bid submission.

Remote and Onsite CART providers may be required to provide proof of Certified Realtime Captioner credentials at the time a Using Agency requests service. Agencies with services anticipated to be more than $10,000 in a fiscal year will make certification requests as part of a Request for Quote. Using Agencies requesting services with an anticipated total of $10,000 or less in a fiscal year may require CART certification proof at the time of requested service.

Type of Solicitation: Electronic Bid (SRM) - Review the Questions section of your solicitation response to ensure you have responded, as required, to any questions relevant to solicitation addenda issued subsequent to the initial advertisement of the solicitation opportunity.

Except as clarified and amended by this Addendum, the terms, conditions, specifications, and instructions of the solicitation and any previous solicitation addenda, remain as originally written.
