About this file
The provided document contains the technical specifications for a 6-Volt battery system required to power microwave systems under a federal contract opportunity. The key details are:
The battery system must consist of three 2-Volt lead acid/glass mat battery cells configured into a single 6-Volt assembly, with a minimum capacity of 860 amp hours for 8 hours at 1.75 Volts. The 6-Volt modules must have front facing terminals and be configurable up to a 48-Volt system. All higher-voltage configurations must meet or exceed Uniform Building Code 97 Seismic Zone 4 specifications and include a mounting base, interconnecting cables, and other necessary hardware. 48-Volt configurations must be less than 30-inches in width and 70-inches in height, including the mounting base.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation (Solicitation Number 7604) from the Department of Agriculture Forest Service for (48) Six Volt Battery Modules configured into Six (6) 48-Volt systems, with associated hardware, to power microwave systems. Interested vendors are directed to review the RFQ, BOM, and technical specifications for full order details.
