About this file
This document outlines the measurement and payment methodology for eleven bid schedule line items associated with a wastewater system installation project, likely for a residential property conversion from an existing septic system to a new treatment and dispersal system.
The payment structure includes both lump sum and unit price compensation models. Lump sum items include mobilization and demobilization (transportation, permits, and fees), auto-flush headworks (Geoflow DripFilterECO or equivalent), supply and return manifold with vacuum relief valve, and abandonment of the existing septic tank. Unit price items are compensated based on linear feet or quantity installed and include: solid sewer pipe (4" Solid PVC ASTM D3034), underground two-way cleanouts, a 1,000-gallon 2-compartment septic tank with effluent filter (Orenco Biotube FTS0444-36 or equivalent), a 1,000-gallon pump chamber with pump and controls (Orenco PF100511 High Head 10 GPM pump and Orenco PVU68-1819 pump vault or equivalents), effluent supply and return lines (1" PVC Schedule 40), subsurface drip system drainfield, and water service line (3/4" PVC Schedule 40). All line items specify that compensation includes labor, excavation, backfill, compaction, necessary fittings and connections, testing, site restoration, and all other items required for complete and operational installation.
