About this file

This is a Minimum Insurance Requirements document issued by Broward County Parks and Recreation Division in Florida for a Trash Compactor Purchase and Installation project. The certificate holder is Broward County, located at 115 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301. The project involves furnishing, delivering, and installing a trash compactor with cart tipper at Central Broward Park and Broward County Stadium. No specific quantities, response dates, bid due dates, site visits, bidders' conferences, award dates, or contract terms are detailed in this insurance requirements document.

The insurance requirements establish minimum coverage limits that the contractor must maintain throughout the project. General Liability coverage must include a $1,000,000 limit per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, with Broward County named as an additional insured and primary coverage holder. Auto Liability coverage requires $1,000,000 combined bodily injury and property damage limits. Workers' Compensation must meet statutory limits with $500,000 in Employers Liability per accident. An Installation Floater is required with "All Risk" completed value coverage and a maximum deductible of $10,000, with Broward County listed as loss payee. The contractor must provide 30 days' written notice of cancellation and 10 days' notice for non-payment cancellation. For Claims-Made policies, coverage and evidence of insurance must be maintained for at least three years after contract completion.
