About this file

This is an insurance requirements document for Broward County Parks and Recreation Division related to the purchase and delivery of an aquatic activity pump. The project involves a fixed purchase of pool pumps according to specifications and requirements established by the Parks and Recreation Division, with shipping and delivery included in the unit price. Vendors must submit solicitation responses electronically through Bonfire BPRO and receive a submission receipt by the closing date and time; the County will not accept responses submitted through other means. The County provides a specified timeframe for vendors to submit questions and seek clarification regarding solicitation requirements through Bonfire BPRO, with responses provided in the Messages section.

The insurance requirements establish minimum coverage limits including General Liability of $500,000 per occurrence and $500,000 aggregate, Auto Liability of $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage, Employers Liability of $100,000 each accident, and Pollution/Environmental Liability with a maximum deductible of $10,000. Broward County must be named as an additional insured with primary coverage, and the insured's insurance shall not require contribution from the County. The contractor must provide 30 days' written notice of cancellation and 10 days' notice for cancellation due to non-payment. For Claims-Made policies, insurance must be maintained and evidence of insurance provided for at least three years after contract completion. No proof of insurance is required if delivery will be by common carrier. A waiver of subrogation applies in favor of Broward County.
