About this file
This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition for a lease renewal by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Region 06 Leasing. The GSA seeks to renew its current lease (LNE31015) for office space in Lincoln, Nebraska for 60 months with a 12-month firm term starting 10/1/2025. The lease renewal is justified due to delays in a new construction project that will consolidate this lease with another lease (LNE30071), with estimated completion in late spring/early summer of 2026. Market research conducted on May 21, 2025, identified limited comparable properties, and a notice published on Sam.gov from June 13-20, 2025, received no expressions of interest. The anticipated rental rate is deemed fair and reasonable, considering the short firm term and potential relocation costs. The document includes certifications and approvals from various GSA officials, with the final approval dated 7/17/2025.
