About this file

This file consists of architectural and structural drawings for the Stabilize/Improve Putnam Library Building 120 project (Project No. 552-21-102) located in Dayton, Ohio, issued as 100% Bid Documents dated March 30, 2026, with Addendum 1 dated July 9, 2026. The drawings include demolition plans for basement, first, second, and third floors showing removal of partitions, fixtures, finishes, and specific structural elements; reflected ceiling plans identifying existing elements to be removed and new ceiling installations including acoustical tile and gypsum board systems; exterior elevations depicting new work on all four facades with painting, masonry repairs, metal panels, and blast-rated curtain wall systems; interior elevations for restrooms and various floors showing fixture locations, tile work, and finish details; door and window schedules specifying 123 windows with laminated interior lites and multiple door types including blast-rated units; and finish plans identifying paint colors, flooring materials (including hardwood, porcelain tile, and carpet), wall treatments, and hardware specifications. Structural drawings detail foundation, first through attic floor framing plans using both wood and steel elements, including sistered joists, LVL girders, HSS support beams for stairs, joist hangers, and reinforced concrete work; comprehensive details illustrate connections, base plate schedules, metal deck specifications, and kinked stair support beams. The project involves significant renovation work including removal and replacement of floor systems, installation of new mechanical equipment, skylight integration, elevator rail support coordination, and extensive interior finishes with emphasis on blast-rated components for security purposes throughout the VA facility.
