About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to provide scaffolding and containment services to facilitate the repair and repainting of a 45-foot Coast Guard boat, RBM-45619, located at the USCG Base in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The SOW requires the contractor to provide and construct an environmental containment structure and covering to prevent rain and dust from contacting the boat hull during sandblasting and repainting. The containment structure must be approximately 57' x 24' in size, with a second layer over the back 1/3 of the hull for additional protection. The contractor must deliver all necessary consumables to the job site prior to building the containment. The work must be completed within 90 days of contract award. The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number 52090PR240000116, seeks quotes for these scaffolding and containment services, with a required response by 04/22/2024 and an anticipated period of performance from 04/26/2024 to 06/01/2024. The award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable bid, and a local presence is highly desired.
