About this file
This document is an addendum to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the North Carolina Department of Administration for Tumblers, Soup and Cereal Bowls. The IFB includes details on the required specifications for the tumblers and bowls, including material, capacity, and dimensions. The estimated 3-year quantities are 1,200 tumblers and 1,800 cases of soup/cereal bowls, with orders expected up to 2 times per year. Bids are due by November 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM ET. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder that meets the specifications. Substitutions for the specified products may be acceptable if they are functionally equivalent.
The packaging requirements specify that the tumblers must be 48 per case, and the soup/cereal bowls must also be 48 per case, with each case labeled and stackable for shipping. Bidders are advised that the State will be open to ordering in large quantities for direct shipment. This is a three-year term contract, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms.
