About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a contract for the purchase and replacement of four laboratory fume hoods at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) in Bremerton, Washington. The project involves removing four existing fume hoods and installing four new BMC Airfoil Bypass Fume Hoods with specific configurations: two 6-foot and two 8-foot models, each equipped with various utilities including air, gas, electrical outlets, switches, and digital airflow monitors. Each fume hood will be accompanied by epoxy resin work surfaces, acid and flammable storage cabinets, and will undergo functionality checks and SEFA testing. The estimated work hours are 40, and the contractor must be a U.S. citizen with access to the controlled industrial area, with work limited to Building 59's laboratory. The source of the estimate is a vendor quote, and the contractor is responsible for quality assurance to ensure the newly installed equipment is in good working order.
