Statement of Work (SOW)
514 AMW
TRAUMA SIMULATOR MANNEQUIN
1. Scope of work:
The contractor shall furnish one (1) Trauma Simulator Mannequin, which is a training support equipment item for the 514th ASTS Training Facility.
The 514 ASTS Wing Training Squadron JBMDL is currently in critical need of this medical support equipment to continue to train efficiently and effectively the 514 AMW Airmen. The ASTS currently does not have any Medical Simulation Mannequin which will enhances medical training by simulating real world scenarios. The 514 ASTS relies on the Army Simulation Lab (MSTC) to facilitate our mandatory deployment Simulation training need. The 514 ASTS must base the simulation training on the availability of the lab and the Army course schedule. We cannot continue to rely on their availability for our simulation training need when they have their own military training mission. The 514 ASTS needs a more effective method of facilitating this mandatory wing training requirement.
2. Requirements:
The 514 ASTS is requesting to procure one (1) Medical/Trauma Simulator to assist the training of the 514 AMW Airmen to include:
1) Trauma Limbs
2) Bleeding wounds (blood loss/monitoring)
3) Portable – Wireless with no tethers (able to be transported and remain fully functional)
4) Medical and trauma simulation learning/scenarios
5) CPR trainer/effectiveness monitoring
6) Extended battery life
7) Programmable display
8) Service plan: on site preventative maintenance and repairs
9) Provide necessary training to government personnel within 15 business days of completing delivery. The training shall be completed in 1-2 days and must ensure proficiency with operation, troubleshooting to allow personnel to operate the system safely, independently, and effectively.
3. Project Description:
This project will enhance Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) training needed to meet the 514 AMW deployable requirement. Utilization of these simulations will also provide more effective long-term initial and recurring training for Tactical Combat Care (TCCC) Courses meeting a new mandatory training requirement for all Air Force Airmen.
There are over 2K 514th AMW Reserve Airmen at JB MDL this Simulation Mannequin will support.
