About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation number 503102-20-Q-0113 issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The solicitation seeks an XBRL subscription service to provide 130 user licenses enabling SEC staff to access interactive XBRL data filings submitted to the EDGAR system since June 2009. The contractor would be responsible for day-to-day support of the 130 users and could provide support via email, phone or other means. Individual licenses would be assigned to users when they request or sign up for access, allowing the SEC to track system usage. Files would typically be sent to the SEC via email, though some offices may have alternative transfer options if needed.

Questions and Answers
No. Question/Comment Answers
1 In regards to the EDGAR API from XBRL:
Does the CTR need to provide day to day support for the 130 users using the licenses?
Yes. The SEC would like to have a way for users to contact support.
This can be a number of different ways; email, phone, etc.
2 Does the CTR need to purchase the licenses in the SEC’s name or do you prefer it carries the contractors name on the License keys?
The individual licenses will be assigned to the individual user when the user either requests or signs up for a license. This way we can track the number of people accessing the system.
3 Does the SEC have a file transfer upload website to send secure files or would we send them using an encrypted email with a digital HID-Identrust signature?
The files would likely be sent via email. Some users, offices, and divisions may have a file transfer site, but that may be a more difficult setup. If the need the SEC may be able to address as needed.
