About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for IRS Solicitation 5000217949, addressing queries about a Request for Quote (RFQ) related to state and local sales tax rates and taxability data collection. Key details include a request for vendors to provide a local taxability spreadsheet containing data from unique sources not currently available in standard databases, with the government emphasizing that quoters should select their own sources to meet requirements outlined in the Statement of Work. The RFQ has been extended through 09/16/2025 at 10 AM Eastern Daylight Time, and vendors are expected to independently source necessary data, with evaluation focused on technical approach and methodology. The government directs potential quoters to review Attachment I for Sample Spending Categories and Section V for Evaluation Methodology details, particularly emphasizing the need for consistent pricing, methodology, and data quality across submissions.
