About this file

Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) has issued Bid 4022, a solicitation for the purchase of Aviation Maintenance Training System Boards for the Aeronautical Technical Institute. The bid requests quotations for four primary training equipment items: Aircraft Oxygen Systems Trainer, Exhaust Driven Turbocharger, Turbine Engine Thrust Reverser System, and Antiskid Brake System. Vendors may bid on individual items or the entire set, with HVCC intending to award based on the lowest qualified bidder who meets all requirements. The boards must be assembled or manufactured in the United States, and shipping costs should be included in the bid to Troy, NY.

Bidders are required to submit proposals through the online Euna Solutions (Bonfire) application system at https://hvcc.bonfirehub.com, with no extensions granted for late submissions. The bid emphasizes flexibility, allowing vendors to bid on individual items or subsets of the equipment list. Specific technical requirements are detailed for each training system, including features like pressurized oxygen tanks, cut-away sections, operational components, and display stands with foot-operated brake casters. The college, which is part of the SUNY system and serves over 19,000 students, seeks high-quality, demonstrative training equipment to support its aviation maintenance education programs.
