About this file
This document is a Certification Regarding Terrorist Organizations & Boycotting of Israel form from the Town of Horizon City Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing Department. The form requires a vendor to certify two key points: first, that the company is not on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts with foreign terrorist organizations, and second, that the vendor and its affiliated companies do not and will not boycott Israel during the term of the agreement.
The certification specifically defines "boycott" as terminating business activities or taking actions intended to penalize, harm economically, or limit commercial relations with Israel or entities doing business in Israel or Israeli-controlled territories. The document references Texas Government Code Chapters 2270.002 and 2252.151-154 as the legal basis for these requirements. Vendors must sign and date the form, affirming their compliance with these stipulations as part of their purchasing process with the Town of Horizon City.
