About this file

This document is an Exhibit I to Solicitation No. BPM004656, Attachment 3, detailing Iron Mountain Government Solutions' request for confidential information designation for specific sections of their solicitation response. The document is prepared for a state or local government procurement process, with Iron Mountain seeking to protect certain trade secrets and proprietary information from public disclosure under administrative code A.A.C. R2-7-103.

Iron Mountain is requesting confidentiality for several sections of their proposal, primarily within Attachment 5 (Arizona Baseline Security Controls Assessment) and Attachment 10 (Method of Approach). The confidential sections include their executive summary, overall method of approach, quality control processes, maintenance and update procedures, reporting mechanisms, and training protocols. The company argues that these internal processes are unique to Iron Mountain, differentiating them from competitors, and that public disclosure could potentially provide strategic advantages to rival firms. They emphasize that these workflow and process details are of high competitive value and cannot be easily quantified, but if revealed, could cause "irreparable harm" to their business by allowing competitors to duplicate their methodologies.
