About this file
This is a delivery schedule memorandum from the Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Complex Coleman, Florida, outlining four distinct delivery schedule options for food service vendors for the fourth quarter of 2026 (July 1 – September 30). Vendors must select and adhere to one of the following schedules: Schedule #1 requires a single shipment delivery between July 1-15, 2026; Schedule #2 requires two equal split shipments with the first delivery July 1-15 and second delivery August 3-17, 2026; Schedule #3 requires three equal split shipments with deliveries occurring July 1-15, August 3-17, and September 1-15, 2026; and Schedule #4 requires weekly deliveries split into 13 shipments delivered each Monday-Tuesday from July 6 through September 29, 2026, between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Produce must be delivered on Mondays in full, while bread, milk, and eggs are due on Tuesdays, with no deliveries permitted on Saturday, Sunday, or observed federal holidays (July 3 and September 7, 2026).
All deliveries must be palletized and wrapped, with non-frozen perishable foods maintained at 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit and frozen foods at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. The facility reserves the right to reject deliveries that do not meet specifications or that arrive outside the designated timeframe, and such deviations will be documented as performance issues affecting future award consideration. Receipt of delivery is conditional for three days to allow for examination and testing; conditionally received items found unacceptable must be picked up by the vendor within two weeks at vendor expense or will be disposed. Invoices must be mailed or emailed only; faxed invoices are not accepted. All questions or performance-related matters should be directed to Angel Metcalf, Food Service Administrator, at ametcalf@bop.gov or the Food Service Warehouse at 352-689-3050/3052/3165/3051/3056.
