About this file

This document is a fourth quarter delivery schedule memorandum from the Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Complex in Coleman, Florida, detailing precise delivery requirements for food service vendors. The memo outlines four distinct delivery schedules (ranging from single shipment to 13 weekly deliveries) for the period of July 1 to September 30, 2025, with specific guidelines including delivery windows between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM, temperature requirements for perishable and frozen foods, and strict performance expectations.

Key operational requirements include palletized and wrapped deliveries, temperature-controlled transportation (34-40°F for non-frozen items, 0°F or below for frozen goods), and conditional receipt with a 3-day examination period. The document emphasizes performance standards, noting that failure to meet delivery schedules or product specifications may result in rejection, re-award to alternative vendors, and potential impact on future contract opportunities. Vendors are instructed to contact the Food Service Warehouse at specified phone numbers and can direct questions to Angel Metcalf via email at ametcalf@bop.gov, with specific instructions about invoice submission and communication protocols.
