The solicitation is for the procurement of one (1) J85-GE-21 Adapter Assembly. It is not a small business set-aside, with a NAICS code of 336413 and a PSC of 1680. 47QSWC24Q0021 PMA-226 J85 Adapter Assembly

Attachment 3 Revised - Vendor Questions

06/03/2024

Q1. Are there any drawings available for the J85 adapter?

A1. Yes, drawings are available.

Q2. Is this J85 designed for a Jet Engine

Test Instrumentation (JETI) System?

A2. This project is to buy the adapter and

PMA-260/LKE will convert it to

JETI so that it can be in line for

ETIRS conversion.

Q3. Is there an existing supplier for this part number?

A3. Not that we know of. We do know companies that have shown past interest.

Q4. ATCH 1, Section 2 Tech Compliance shows “2. 978AS750-2, COUPLING, RED, 150# ASA 2X1 ½” NTP CRES”.

Reviewing the BOM on 978AS750-1 does not have this part number.

However, it does have 978AS700-2 with the same description. I believe that the wrong part number was put into the sheet.

A4. 978AS750-2 is the correct part number listed in 978AS750. Please note, P/N 978AS700-2 is the former/alternate part number.

Q5. Attachments 5 and 28 are the same drawing when opened. It seems that

Attachment 28 should be part number

978AS700-2.

A5. Attachments are the same. If

978AS700 drawing is required, please let the Government know and it can be provided.

Q6. Part number 978AS709-1 is called.

However, that drawing was not part of the attachments that were issued with amendment 0006.

A6. See ATCH 55 Drawing 978AS709 that is issued with amend 0008.

Q7. The proposal seems to be intended to deliver a complete Adapter Assembly which would include the trailer. Are the intentions to provide drawings details of the trailer itself?

A7. The Government is providing the trailer, only the adapter and supporting hardware is required.
