Graphic Recording
A form of facilitation where the graphic recorder creates a visual "map" or artifact from the shared output and thinking of a team or group activity. Using metaphor, imagery and words, graphic recorders organize information in ways that engage both hemispheres of the brain, creating a visual record of the learning the group has just experienced. As a facilitative tool, graphic recording augments traditional note taking by integrating left and right brain learning processes and aiding participants in making meaning of complex information. Created live, during the event, the graphic record becomes a quick, whole brain way to help participants recall conversations and be reminded of the value of the experience.

Mindset of a Collaborative Leader (MCL) Workshop
The Mindset of a Collaborative Leader (MCL) workshop is designed to give participants a meaningful encounter with their own thinking about what it takes to create and work in collaborative environments. The MCL provides a structured group learning experience that invites deeper exploration into the mindset needed to lead in a time of great complexity and interdependence among co-workers, outside partners and contributors. Adapting new behaviors to bring about meaningful collaborative outcomes starts with understanding our own internal landscape. Our guiding question for the program is: How must we think differently to genuinely enable collaborative environments? The ability to encourage, support and deliver collaborative outcomes calls for a different leadership approach than what is routinely practiced or expected in traditional workplaces. In this highly interactive, introductory workshop, you will delve into three core principles that are central to the mindset of a collaborative leader: 1. Inquiry into the perspectives of others, versus advocating for one’s own
perspective/position, in service to identifying common needs and interests and promoting concerted action
2. Problem defining with others before problem solving to help all parties better understand and address the complexity of the current state, including the need to manage paradox, competing commitments and uncertainty
3. Power sharing to include others so they have authentic influence on outcomes and decisions, empower networks, and create more equitable outcomes. This includes a deeper exploration of privileges and advantages based on group identities (race, gender, ethnicity, etc.) as a means of taking inventory of the power one has to share What to Expect from the MCL Workshop? • Experimental virtual workshop designed for leaders and influencers of all levels
• Deeper understanding of why collaborative leadership matters now, and the opportunities and challenges associated with this practice
• Reflection on personal growth needed to be more collaborative
• High levels of engagement and relationship building with others
• The opportunity to influence the agenda n live time based on what emerges
• Practical application of workshop learning to real-life scenarios Workshop Scheduling & Timing • Voluntary pre-workshop sensing calls offered a few weeks in advance of the program for those who want to learn more about the program, connect with other participants and facilitators, and share perspectives relevant to the program
• All sessions will be hosted on Zoom and full audio/video participation is expected. Sessions will have scheduled screen breaks.

Leader as a Convener Workshop
Strategizing for genuine collaboration requires a new kind of skill set and deeper understanding of how to empower, include and motivate others. The purpose of the virtual Leader as Convener Workshop (LCW) is to begin to answer the question: How can we as leaders engage and integrate diverse voices in our collaborative work? The program introduces leaders to the mental models, methods and skills for connecting diverse people and convening important conversations that create positive influence where it is
needed most. • Practical, virtual workshop (19 hours over the course of 4 days) designed for leaders and influencers at all levels who want to learn the art and science of engaging diverse stakeholders—both internal and external—to undertake shared work together.
• Experience a set of convening methodologies (I.E. Open Space Technology, World Café, Circle Practice, Story Telling, and ProAction Café) and planning tools designed to build group cohesion, capture collective knowledge, and mitigate conflict, polarization, and overwhelm in both virtual and live environments.

Service Contract Labor Standards: The Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS), formerly known as the Service Contract Act (SCA), are applicable to this contract as it applies to the entire Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) and all services provided. While no specific labor categories have been identified as being subject to SCLS/SCA due to exemptions for professional employees (FAR 22.1101, 22.1102 and 29 CRF 541.300), this contract still maintains the provisions and protections for SCLS/SCA eligible labor categories. If and/or when the Contractor adds SCLS/SCA labor categories to the contract through the modification process, the Contractor must inform the Contracting Officer and establish a SCLS/SCA matrix identifying the GSA labor category titles, the occupational code, SCLS/SCA labor category titles, and the applicable WD number. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the contract.
