Question and Responses
Question #1 - The specs call for 90 days of storage for 24 cameras. Is that for:
A: All 24 cameras running at full resolution 2mp, 15 FPS, with continuous recording, Or. B: Just for the 5 new cameras IP cameras, and room for 3 more running at 2MP, while the other 16 analog cameras will record at 480x 600, continuous recording, 15 FPS.
Answer: They can set the recording so it is “Event” record. Also it can be slowed down on the frame rate some but not so much that it degrades the playback so much that it is not useful.
Question #2 - I am running into a problem with the outdated CAVSS Design Guide.
It specifies if we need a network switch then the standard model is the: CISCO 3750X
However, that product is no longer made OR supported. We need to request to substitute it with this model instead: Cisco SG200-26FP
Answer: Propose substitution is acceptable.
