About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to the Pembina Wind Turbine Demolition and Remediation federal contract opportunity issued by the General Services Administration Public Buildings Service Region 8. Key details include that the contractor will demolish and remove an existing wind turbine tower and dispose of associated components, with the exception of the transformer which will be retained by GSA. The contractor can leave equipment onsite and a work trailer for the duration of the project. Safety measures such as traffic control and drop zone planning will be required. Power is not readily available so the contractor must bring a generator, which can also remain onsite. Recycling documentation is encouraged but not mandatory.
