PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT

March 13, 2019 10:00 am Eastern 9:00 am Central

I. Part One

1. ELEVATOR UPGRADE, CLIFFORD DAVIS-ODELL HORTON, MEMPHIS, TN

Introductions: Dee Otis Henderson Contracting Officer, GSA, Atlanta John Bradley Project Manager- GSA Contractor Introductions:

2. The purpose of the meeting is to assist the contractor in the submission of a proposal and address any technical aspects of the solicitation.

3. This procurement is a Full and Open.

4. The contract will consist of a Line Items 0001 DESIGN 0002 CONSTRUCTION

5. Construction Magnitude is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 for Construction only.

6. The award of this project will be made to the contractor with a proposal that has the lowest price that is fair and reasonable.

Contractors will be required to submit contracts for similar work valued at $1,000,000 and above in the last 5 years.

7. Original copies of Bid Bonds are required from the contractor that is awarded the project. Contractor’s can email copies of their bid bond with their proposal. Contractor’s failing to submit bid bonds will have their proposals rejected.

8. As a general rule you should read all of the bid documents. All contracts are not the same, changes may have occurred. We the Government are all bound by the same laws and regulations, but there may be variations from agency to agency.

9. Any clarifications concerning the solicitation should be directed to the contracting officer in writing.

10. Again my name is Dee Otis Henderson and I will be the contracting officer on this contract.
