Q: Sound Bat STC minimum requirement rating/ what STC rating do you want to use?
GSA: Like or similar to R-19, 6” BAT, Sound Dampening.
Q: the new walls call for 4” above ceiling, do you want the existing walls that remain to extend 4” above ceiling?
GSA: NO.
Q Where can I load/unload materials?
We have a Loading dock at the basement level with freight elevator. The loading dock cannot be taken over solely for contractor use. The O&M and Janitorial personnel use the loading dock/freight elevator during the day. It takes a few minutes for the security personnel to examine the vehicle and get the truck in place. basement level:
Q: Is there parking available?
No parking on site. There are paid and unpaid parking throughout the city.
Q: Where do we put construction debris?
Safe to assume the dumpster will be open. Located basement level. Please price one dumpster. As of right now, this project is the only project going on during this period of performance. Other’s might be working, but we cannot be for certain.
Q: can we use the cafeteria during construction?
Yes it is a public use cafeteria. Please just practice safe cleaning habit.
Q Dumpster size maximum size?

Q Sprinkler heads, is the new layout relocating any sprinkler heads.

Q: Making 9 of the 2 x 4’s into emergency lights need spec and 9 that needs to be on battery back-up: need spec’s for the 9 emergency battery backup.
Emergency lights (2’x4’) are to be wired into the existing emergency circuit that feeds off of the emergency generator.
Q: Permits and registering subs with the cities.
