AMENDMENT 0002

Below please see the list of responses to Requests for Information for Solicitation No.:

47PC0725R0005.

Question 1: Regarding the northbound Interstate 87 lanes leading from the U turn by the truck exit booth on the southern end of the property to the Canadian border. Please clarify if this area is included in the required plowing area of this project?

Answer 1: Yes, this area is to be included in the required plowing area of this contract.

Incorporated are the I87 north bound lanes, to be plowed on a as needed basis (highlighted in yellow), approximately 5 acres of area (217,800 sq ft). (Note: The areas in red are already in the scope of work.)

Question 2: Will the government please clarify if there is an incumbent providing service on this contract or is this level of effort a new need? If there is an incumbent, can the government please provide the most recent contract award number/contract value?

Answer 2: There is currently a contract for Clinton County Snow Removal Services. The incumbent is R. Hogan Excavating, LLC; Contract number 47PC1119C0010; Contract value $3,882,200.00.

Amendment 0002

Question 3: How much storage do you have to store snow equipment?

Answer 3: The storage for snow equipment are as follows: 1250 sq ft bay for salt, 1250 sq ft bay for personnel/storage, 2000 sq ft for parking equipment on site.

Question 4: Do you have any information on the incumbent?

Answer 4: Previously answered in Amendment 0001, Question 2.

Question 5: What has been a major issue that you wanted resolved on previous contracts?

Answer 5: There have been no major issues on previous contracts.

Question 6: Can this be invoiced on a bi-weekly basis?

Answer 6: Invoices are to be submitted monthly, please see Section G.2 Submission of Invoices of the solicitation, which states: "Monthly invoices must be submitted after all required paperwork has been sent to the COR. Invoices received prior to the Government’s receipt of the required submittals will be rejected. Please refer to FAR 52.232-25."
