Subject: Pre-Bid Site Visit Bangor USAO Carpet and Paint at the M.C. Smith Federal Building (ME0061Z) in Bangor, ME Solicitation No. 47PB0018B0001
Date: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 Time: 10:00AM EST Location: M.C. Smith Federal Building (ME0061ZZ) 202 Harlow Street Bangor, ME 04401-4901
Attendance at this Pre-Bid Site visit is vital to the preparation of a competitive, cost effective, and accurate bid in accordance with the technical requirements. It will enable the contractor to become acquainted with the areas which require special attention. Contractors are reminded to dress appropriately.
All visitors will be required to go through the screening process in the main lobby of the building. No weapons (e.g. utility knives) are allowed.
It has been determined that cameras are permissible for only the construction area. Photographs are only authorized for the immediate work areas included in this project. Under no circumstances should photographs be taken of people in the building, documents or computer screens.
After the Pre-Bid Site Visit, interested firms are requested to submit questions in writing to Sotheavy Khon, Contract Officer, at sotheavy.khon@gsa.gov within two (2) business days after the date of the Pre-Bid Site Visit in order to facilitate preparation of responses. Each question should clearly specify the Section, Page, and Paragraph, to which it refers. Answers to questions will be provided after the Pre-Bid Site Visit in an expeditious manner as possible.

While the Pre-Bid Conference will provide an opportunity to discuss and clarify the solicitation provisions, nothing said or represented at the site visit shall be deemed to modify the solicitation requirements unless followed by a written amendment.
Offerors should notify Ms. Sotheavy Khon, at (617) 565-8892 or via Email:
sotheavy.khon@gsa.gov of the names of the persons who will attend the Pre-Bid Site Visit.
Notification should be made at least two working days prior to the scheduled Site Visit, if possible.
