About this file

This is an AFMC Form 158 Packaging Requirements document for federal contract FD20302501425-03, Version 1, issued on April 22, 2026. The document specifies packaging and marking standards for two line items under this purchase instrument.

The document establishes compliance with United Nations restrictions on wood packaging material (WPM) to prevent invasive species such as the pinewood nematode. All wooden lumber, pallets, and containers must be constructed from debarked wood and heat-treated to 56 degrees Celsius (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes, with certification/marking required by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC). For item 4810DTH2601BDTP (PACRN AAA), no packaging data is required. For item 4810013806588TP (PACRN AAB), MIL Long Line Packaging applies at preservation level MIL and packaging level B, with unit pack dimensions of 12.5" x 12.5" x 8.5" and a cube of 0.768. Both items require packaging in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1 (Standard Practice for Military Packaging) and shipping/storage markings per MIL-STD-129 (Standard Practice for Military Marking), Revision R. Shipping containers must include additional markings and/or bar coding exceeding MIL-STD-129 requirements, such as unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturer names, or OEM model numbers as specified on the AFMC Form 158. The packaging specialist Sean R. Cox (405-582-1901) from 406 SCMS/GULAA office is the point of contact for this requirement.
