Performance and capacity requirements include 1,400,000 btu/hr heat input, 400-475 lbs maximum load, minimum 140 cubic feet tumbler volume, 9,200 cfm airflow, and a minimum of 6 programmable cycles. Physical and installation requirements mandate rear exhaust (24-28 inches), dimensions fitting within 8'6"w x 6'6"d x 10'h space, double tilt capabilities (forward and backward), and a 1-inch female pipe thread S.A.F.E. System water connection with 40-100 PSI pressure range. The contractor bears full responsibility for installation, utility connections (gas, air, electrical), all necessary modifications to existing utilities, removal of the old unit using appropriate lifting equipment, and relocation of the existing dryer to a designated staging area. Technical acceptability determinations are provided exclusively by Susan Meyer, GS-09, Assistant Laundry Manager, with points of contact Brenda Brown (brenda.brown.9@us.af.mil, 907-854-2429) and Susan Meyer (susan.meyer.1@us.af.mil, 907-384-1903).
