Answer 1: To understand the distinction between the two, please reference 2 CFR § 200.330.

Question 2: Which countries are of interest? Is it possible to get in touch with them for proposal planning/prep purposes?

Answer 2: To your question regarding country selection, per the Notice of Funding, ENR will work with the selected Grantee after approval to select countries to attend the ERGI Academy.

Question 3: Which minerals/metals will be of interest to them? I can accordingly reach out to the local industry within drivable distance to arrange letters of support for site visits.

Answer 3: To your question regarding mineral selection, per the Notice of Funding, our work is primarily concerned with “energy resource minerals,” those critical minerals and metals that will fuel the renewable energy transition.

Question 4: The usual F/A rate that [] charges for federal research grants is 44%. I see in your Application Review Section you have asked to keep the "overhead and administrative costs as low as possible", what would be a reasonable F/A to get no penalty points from the budget point of view.
