About this file

The document is a Bid Proposal Sheet (RFB 2025-068) for the City of Waco, Texas, specifically for Pavement Rehabilitation in Districts 1 & 4. The project encompasses 7.39 lane miles of mill and overlay work across various streets, with a sealed bid submission deadline of 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. via Zoom. The bid sheet details 34 line items including mobilization, traffic control, erosion control, milling, hot mix asphalt overlay, base failure repairs, concrete work, pavement markings, signage, and miscellaneous infrastructure improvements.

The bid proposal requires contractors to perform at least 30% of the total original contract cost using their own organization, excluding specialty items. The document includes unit pricing for each line item, with estimated quantities for materials and services such as surface milling (60,109 square yards), asphalt overlay, bonding courses, concrete repairs, and various pavement markings. Contractors are required to list subcontractor MWBE (Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise) status and provide detailed pricing. The project will be procured through the City of Waco's purchasing process, with interested parties directed to access additional information through the Bonfire hub portal and contact purchasing agent Paul Campos for questions.
