About this file

This is an Insurance Certificate document from Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) detailing insurance requirements for contractors providing services at GCPS locations. The document specifies mandatory insurance coverage that contractors must maintain throughout the duration of their agreement, including three primary types of insurance: Worker's Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Automobile Insurance.

The insurance requirements include specific minimum coverage amounts: Worker's Compensation at $1,000,000 per occurrence, Commercial General Liability with various limits ranging from $1,000,000 to $2,000,000, and Automobile Liability of at least $500,000 combined single limit per accident. Contractors must provide insurance certificates to GCPS's Department of Purchasing and Property Management, with each certificate requiring 30 days' prior written notice of any cancellation or material policy changes. Additionally, GCPS must be named as an additional insured, and the district cannot be held responsible for insurance premium payments.
