C.2 Reservoirs (Table C.2 has additional information regarding each reservoir):
R01 – Alameda Reservoir was built in 1972 and is located at 585 Shoshone Ct in Fremont. This reservoir has a submersible mixing pump with chlorine and ammonia addition. The liner was replaced in 2013, and the roof was replaced in 2024. Sediment was ¼ to 1.5 inches during 2018 cleaning.
R02 – Decoto Reservoir was built in 1964 and is located at 35006 Mission Blvd in Fremont. The reservoir liner is original. Depth of sediment in this reservoir in 2016 averaged about 1 in most places, and up to 6- 8 inches on sloped walls.
R03 – Whitfield Reservoir was built in 1985 and is located at 42650 Paseo Padre Pkwy in Fremont. The reservoir serves as a clearwell for Water Treatment Plant No. 2. Sediment was light from dusting to about 1-inch in heavier area.
