Deliveries must occur twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7:30 am and 2:00 pm EST, with mandatory pre-delivery contact to the Food Service Warehouse at (978) 796-1004 for approval. Vendors must use specific bread transport racks measuring 30" wide, 45 1/2" deep, 72" high with 4 1/2" wheels, and use stackable bread trays to prevent product damage.

Additional critical specifications include individual date stamping of all loaves/packages (using Julien dates or use-by dates at least 10 days from delivery), maintaining a temperature range of 34-41 degrees F for non-frozen perishable foods, and providing complete orders subject to a three-day conditional acceptance period. Failure to meet these precise delivery and product specifications may result in product rejection, requiring 24-hour replacement at the vendor's expense, and potential contract termination or removal from future consideration due to past performance.
