About this file

This Statement of Work outlines subscription requirements for the Nimitz Library at the U.S. Naval Academy, which serves approximately 4,520 midshipmen, 600 faculty, and 3,000 staff and military personnel. The SOW calls for one-year subscriptions (January 1 - December 31, 2025) to 16 specific Sage online journal titles covering topics in politics, sociology, military affairs, engineering, history, and international relations, as well as three Sage reference resources (CQ Supreme Court Collection, CQ Researcher Online, and CQ Magazine).

Key requirements include full-text access to all selected journals and reference resources, compatibility with the library's Ex Libris Alma and Primo indexing systems, provision of COUNTER-standard usage data, one business day response time from the publisher's POC for technical and content issues, and the ability to execute bilateral license agreements. The subscriptions are intended to support the Academy's educational mission by providing scholarly materials in humanities, sciences, engineering, and professional fields necessary for curriculum development and faculty research.
