About this file
This document is a minimum specifications sheet for a federal contract opportunity requiring air/hydraulic lifting equipment for automotive service applications.
The solicitation consists of three CLINs for a total of eight units of specialized jacks. CLIN 0001 requires three forklift jacks with a minimum 7-ton (14,000 lbs) lifting capacity, air-powered hydraulic operation at 90-155 PSI, low-profile design with maximum 2.5-inch starting height and 16-inch lift height, multi-position lifting surface for flat and round surfaces, and compliance with ASME PASE or ANSI/ASME PALD safety standards (brand name or equal to GRAY Model FLJ-770A/H). CLIN 0002 requires three air/hydraulic truck service/axle jacks rated for 25 tons (50,000 lbs), operating at 90-175 PSI with air-assisted ram retraction, maximum 8.5-inch starting height, 5.0-inch minimum hydraulic stroke, heavy-duty steel frame with 7-inch transport wheels and corrosion-resistant coated ram, and ASME PASE or ANSI/ASME PALD compliance (brand name or equal to GRAY Model TSL-50). CLIN 0003 requires two long-chassis floor service jacks with 10-ton (20,000 lbs) capacity, dual-power operation supporting both air-powered hydraulic lifting (90-150 PSI) and manual hand/foot pump operation, maximum 8.0-inch starting height, 25.0-inch maximum lift height, 50.0-inch chassis length for deep lift point access, heavy-duty welded steel construction with front load wheels and rear swivel casters, and ASME PASE or ANSI/ASME PALD compliance (brand name or equal to GRAY Model FSJ-200).
