About this file
This is a specification sheet for custom vehicle isolation cages designed for four Toyota RAV4 vehicles at Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi, Japan, for the Security Department. The cages are to be fabricated from high-strength steel, polycarbonate, and aluminum materials and installed according to detailed specifications provided in the accompanying documentation. A mandatory site visit to inspect the vehicles is required after the formal Request for Quotations (RFQ) is released. The Government anticipates issuing the RFQ on or about 23 July 2026, with award targeted by no later than 30 September 2026. This is a competitive acquisition conducted under FAR Part 12 commercial item procedures, restricted to sources authorized to operate in Japan and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). The World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements do not apply due to the estimated dollar value. The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command, through Naval Supply Systems Command, is the procuring agency for this effort.
