About this file
This document is a Certificate of Compliance Notice from the Jackson County Compliance Review Office in Kansas City, Missouri. The notice outlines mandatory requirements for all vendors seeking to do business with Jackson County, specifically detailing the process for obtaining a Certificate of Compliance. Vendors must submit this certificate with any bid response, and failure to do so may result in bid rejection. The application must be completed at least five business days before the bid response deadline, with no guarantee of processing if the timeline is not met.
The Certificate of Compliance requires vendors to meet two primary criteria: first, vendors must be listed on Jackson County tax rolls and not have any delinquent taxes, or have no property subject to taxation in the county as of December 31st of the previous year. Second, vendors must attest to and agree with Chapter 6 of the Jackson County Code, which prohibits discriminatory practices and promotes equal employment opportunity. Vendors can complete the application online at the provided website and can contact the Compliance Review Office via email at cro@jacksongov.org or by phone at 816-881-3302 for any questions.
