About this file
This is an accessibility compliance attachment for a Website Design Services contract with the University of Texas at Austin. The attachment outlines the contractor's obligations regarding electronic and information resources (EIRs) accessibility requirements under Texas Administrative Code Chapter 213 and Chapter 206.70. The contractor must ensure all electronic resources, documentation, and support provided to the University comply with applicable accessibility standards. Should any portion of the EIRs fail to meet accessibility requirements, the contractor must remediate the deficiency at no cost to the University or replace the non-compliant resources with accessible alternatives. The contractor is required to provide full assistance and cooperation for accessibility testing, planning, and execution criteria as conducted by the University or its designated third-party testing resources.
If the contractor fails or is unable to remedy accessibility deficiencies or provide compliant replacements, the University retains the right to terminate the agreement. Upon termination, the contractor must refund all amounts paid by the University within thirty days. This warranty provision ensures that all deliverables under the Website Design Services contract meet established accessibility standards, protecting the University's investment while ensuring compliance with Texas accessibility requirements for individuals with disabilities.
