About this file

This document is an Addendum #1 issued by the City of Frisco's Purchasing Division for Bid #2610-004 related to Pond Dredging, dated October 15, 2025. The addendum provides additional information for potential contractors, specifically noting that bidders will have the opportunity to collect a sample of sludge material after the pre-bid meeting to help select appropriate equipment and dewatering methods. Contractors are instructed to bring their own boat for sampling, as the City will not provide one on-site.

The addendum allows vendors who have already submitted a bid to reconsider their response based on this new information. If a vendor feels the addendum might change their initial bid, they may either pick up and return their original response by the closing date or submit a new response, which will supersede any previously submitted bid. The document emphasizes flexibility for bidders to adjust their proposals in light of the new sampling opportunity, ensuring they can provide the most accurate and competitive proposal for the pond dredging project.

Text version

October 15, 2025 Purchasing Division Addendum #1 – BVB # 2610-004 - Pond Dredging

It will be possible to collect a sample after the pre-bid meeting to analyze the sludge material in the pond in order to properly select the equipment and dewatering methods. Contractors may bring their own boat for sampling purposes. The City will not have a boat available on-site for Contractor use.

Vendors who may have already submitted a bid and feel this addendum may change their response, may pick up their response, and return it by the closing date. If picking up the response is not feasible, any new response submitted by your firm will supersede one previously submitted.

Sincerely, Lara Froment Buyer City of Frisco
